Camille Richert

Biography

The independent curator and art critic Camille Richert teaches at ENSBA Lyon. A graduate of ENS Lyon, she defended her doctoral thesis on representations of work in Western contemporary art since 1968 at IEP Paris in 2021. She was co-curator of the 2nd Triennale Art & Industrie de Dunkerque – Hauts-de-France in 2023, entitled Chaleur humaine. She is an associate researcher at Sciences Po’s CHSP and regularly publishes in academic journals. A member of AICA France, she also writes for artists (Io Burgard, Andrés Baron, Simon Nicaise). Winner of a Mondes Nouveaux grant in 2021, she is leading a writing and exhibition project on the British feminist collective Hackney Flashers. Previously, she was in charge of publishing at Lafayette Anticipations – Fondation d’entreprise Galeries Lafayette, a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris and responsible for the Sciences Po Prize for Contemporary Art.
